Description
Color photograph taken during the filming of the CBS made-for-television movie, "Skokie" in late 1980 (filming took place around October-December 1980). Image shows actors re-enacting a protest against a potential neo-Nazi rally in the Village of Skokie in the late 1970s. In this scene, a crowd of protesters holding signs are pushing against a line of actors portraying uniformed Skokie police officers. The photograph was taken from behind the crowd and a motion film camera and boom microphone are visible in the background. The filming location of the scene was the actual Skokie Village Hall, which is also visible to the left and the Village Center apartments are visible in the right background.
