On August 21, 2017, 1100+ Skokie, IL residents and nearby neighbors gathered at Skokie Public Library to witness the solar eclipse that captivated the country. At the event, participants were asked to write notes to viewers of the next solar eclipse in 2024. The resulting words and images ranged from sincere to humorous, filled with everything from practical advice to heartfelt descriptions of the rare experience. Have a look!
